Reader Question:
I really like this boy who’s 21. I am 17 and will be 18 quickly. My personal mom claims it’s fine to talk to this man, but my dad said I can only talk and become friends with him. I have stress and anxiety and then he thinks I’m not ready to big date.
What do I do, and that do we tune in to?

Dr. Wendy Walsh’s response:
hear your own gut and pay attention to the law. The state you’re in may well not even lets you date a legal sex until you tend to be one your self.
As for paying attention to your own abdomen, step slowly and focus on how you feel. Should you believe pressured to progress to a physical commitment, even kissing, when you are set, honor that feeling.
It’s OK to reduce. There are numerous other guys meet gay around me, along with a lot of time to train relationships without getting the heart broken.
Your father just wants to protect you from that discomfort. (And by how, a 21-year-old is a guy, perhaps not a guy, so don’t anticipate him is doing a juvenile commitment along with you.)
